Dr. Harmon moved to Alaska with her husband 7 years ago from Fort Collins, CO. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical year at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. After veterinary school, Dr. Harmon completed a 1 year specialty internship in emergency medicine, rehabilitation, and pain management at Fort Collins Veterinary Emergency and Rehabilitation Hospital in Fort Collins, CO before beginning work as an ER veterinarian and veterinary acupuncturist in specialty hospitals across northern Colorado. Dr. Harmon’s professional interests include pain management, acupuncture, trauma stabilization, and emergency surgery. When not working, Ashley enjoys gardening, mountain biking, and outdoor adventuring with her husband, 3 dogs, and 3-year-old son. She has completed triathlons across the US and West Indies. She loves the bond between people and their dogs, and feels there are not many things better than a tired, dirty dog after a long adventure.
