Do I need to make an appointment?

No, if you have an emergency, please bring your pet to our hospital immediately. We accept walk-ins only for our emergency services. If you have a referral from your regular veterinarian and would like to schedule an appointment with our internist, please call us directly at (907) 519-6588.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Scratch Pay, and Care Credit.

Do you offer payment plans?

We do not offer internal payment plans. Payment is required at the time of service. To assist with financial concerns, we do work with ScratchPay and CareCredit – both of whom offer flexible payment options.

Do you administer vaccines?

Yes.

Do you also see exotic animals?

Yes, we occasionally have visits from clients with exotic pets.

Do you work directly with my primary care veterinarian?

We can partner with your primary care veterinarian in emergency and specialty care situations to provide the most comprehensive care for your pet. However, we do not have direct access to your pet’s medical records through your primary care veterinarian.

What happens when my pet I arrive?

One of our trained nurses will perform an initial assessment to determine whether or not your pet is in stable or critical condition. Pets in stable condition will remain with you until a veterinarian is available to perform a thorough evaluation. Pets in less stable condition will be immediately placed in the treatment area of the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Can I visit my pet?

Pets are carefully monitored throughout their stay at PET Inc. and you will receive frequent updates on your pet’s condition. We ask that you call ahead to see if one of our veterinary team members can assist you in a brief visit with your pet.

How can I receive updates on my pet?

Please feel free to call us anytime. Our doctors or technicians will provide you with information as soon as they are able to step away from treating other pets. We can also prearrange to text updates to your phone.

Where do I take my pet for follow up care?

PET Inc. will work in collaboration with your primary care veterinarian to provide the best follow-up care for your pet. We can fax or email a summary of your visit to their office to keep them up-to-date on your pet’s health status.
