Dr. Cat Hefley

Cat Hefley earned her D.V.M. from NCSU CVM in 2007. She completed a one-year internship in Small Animal Emergency Medicine and Surgery in 2008 at the After Hours Small Animal Emergency Clinic in association with NCSU. After moving to Alaska in 2010, she knew she had found home. She went to Veterinary Specialty Center in Buffalo Grove, IL, to complete a one-year internship in Small Animal Surgery and become certified in Canine rehabilitation in 2013. She has continued to pursue additional training in various aspects of small animal surgery and emergency medicine ever since. She completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery through Harper Adams University in 2024. Cat also enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, woodworking, and exploring Alaska with her dog Tok.
