Dr. Jessica Dahlberg

Dr. Dahlberg is a board-certified veterinary surgeon (DACVS-LA) with nearly 20 years of veterinary surgery experience.

While completing her doctorate, she earned a concurrent masters degree focusing on biomechanics and osteoarthritis therapy in animals. She then completed a surgical internship and residency in large animal surgery and practiced sports medicine and surgery on horses in several states in the U.S.

Over 13 years ago, she switched gears to practice small animal surgery. She completed four years of small animal general practice before finishing a small animal surgery fellowship (ACVS Dual Certification Program) at a specialty practice in California.

As a general surgeon, Jessica performs orthopedic, soft tissue and neuro-surgery. She is also a certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist and enjoys diagnosing and treating challenging lameness cases.

Dr. Dahlberg has performed high-volume spay/neuter in Oregon, California, Cuba, and Africa and has taught fundamental orthopedic surgery to veterinarians in Vietnam.

Patient comfort, client satisfaction, superior medical principles, and veterinary collaboration are very important to Dr. Dahlberg. She balances work with mountain/gravel biking, running or backpacking trails, snow/splitboarding, or fixing up her dry cabin. She is also never far from her 11 yo pit-mix, “Guy,” for very long.
